The Language of Coupons part 2

One trip and saved 77$, spent 17$
This was purchased for  less than 20$.
Our next words are
Match: the use of coupons on sale items.
This can be done using a service like couponmom.com
I tend to use her site  but also gather the circulars and  I put a notation on the items that I use often and need to stack up on.
using the picture as an example:
Colgate toothpaste on sale 10 for 10$  - .75cent coupon  ( doubled to 1$ at this store) = FREE
Ro-tel tomatoes  on sale- 49cents each, with coupon 40cents off 2 cans (doubled to 80cents)= 9 cents each
Good luck and happy matching
