The language of coupons ----more words

After all the Planning and prep work, you walk out your door , get in your car and drive to your favorite store.   And there you are thinking, "This is when it will all payoff, " A stockpile of stuff and at a great price.
You walk through the store like a lady (or Man) on a mission and with your cart piled high with goodies you head for the checkout area.  Everyone is all smiles and  you choose a lane to deposit your bootie.
To be sure is stays this way, be sure to remember a few things............
1. Know your store's coupon policy- there may be occasions that you will know more than the cashier and
you may need to help them.  This is usually easier if you have the policy printed out and in your coupon
      folder.
2.Know the DIFFERENCE between Transaction VS Purchase
Transaction- the actual visit to the register when she scans and then you pay for the products = One
transaction .  This can be done several times if need be.  Some stores and cashiers will ring
out one transaction, you pay and then start a new one.  I don't see a reason for this in the
normal shopping trips.  This is usually done if you are rolling rewards or catalinas (more on
                       that later)
Purchase-   the actual ITEM you are buying .  A coupon will say  "only one coupon per purchase"  So if
you buy 4 angelsoft toilet paper and you have 4 coupons that say 1$ off of One.....you are
                    good to go.

Good Luck and happy shopping!!!
